The sebaceous glands secrete oil near the hair roots, forming a thin oil film on the surface of the skin to prevent the skin from drying out. Excessive oil secretion from the sebaceous glands can cause hair clogs. Then, acne bacteria, which are indigenous bacteria on the skin, multiply and acne is formed. When the inflammation becomes chronic and spreads deep into the skin, it leaves uneven scars, so-called acne scars. Acne scars can have a psychological impact as an appearance complex in some cases.
